For the TS-5 unit, the following strainer sizing is recommended:
For daily operation of the unit, safely perform the following steps:
1. When the tanker truck has been positioned and is ready to be washed, lower the fully assembled TS-4/TS-5 assembly into the manway. Due to the weight of the units, a hoist or crane apparatus may be required for this step. 2. Positioning a. Ensure that the TS-4 is positioned so that the spray nozzles are facing the ends of the tanker truck. b. Ensure that the TS-5 is positioned so that the jet spray is facing lengthwise along the tanker truck. 3. Push down on the spring arms and rotate so that the lower arm is out of the way when installing the unit. 4. Once the unit is in place, push down on the arms and swing the arm lever towards the outside of the manway so that the arms now inside the tanker secure against the inside of the manway, holding the manway gasket down.

Figure 5: Rotation of Arms Levers 5. Connect your CIP supply hose (n ot included with the TS-4/TS-5 ) to the inlet of the TS-4/TS-5 (Tri- Clamp or Bevel Seat Connection). 6. Perform CIP cleaning cycle. 7. Disconnect your CIP supply hose (ensure CIP cleaning cycle is complete and any appropriate Lock-Out-Tag-Out (LOTO) steps are completed). 8. Push down on the arms and swing the arm lever towards the inside of the manway so that the unit can be removed from the manway opening. 9. Raise the fully assembled TS-4/TS-5 assembly out of the manway. Due to the weight of the units, a hoist or crane apparatus may be required for this step.
