Assembly 1) Install (5) O-Ring on the (1) Strainer Element Frame by sliding it over the element and into the O- ring groove. Do not use sharp tools, as these will damage the O-ring. 2) Install (4) End Cap O-Ring on the (3) End Cap ensuring it is captured in the O-ring groove. Do not use sharp tools, as these will damage the O-ring.
NOTE: Apply food grade lubricant onto the (4) End Cap O-Ring prior to installing the O-Ring.
3) Install the assembled (3) End Cap onto the (1) Strainer Element Frame by applying some force and rotating the (3) End Cap clockwise until it will not turn further. 4) Slide the (6) Gasket over the (1) Strainer Element Frame , so it rests on the endcap. 5) Insert the assembled (1) Strainer Element Frame into the (5) Strainer Body , making sure the (6) Gasket is in the groove on both the (1) Strainer Element Frame and (2) Strainer Body . 6) Secure with a (7) Clamp , tightening the wing nut to 25 in. lb. torque.
