h. Facility Page – System Properties (Data Acquisition Configuration)

Notes 1. This section allows for setup or adjustment of the data acquisition. Note that a 5000 series Allen-Bradley PLC (e.g., CompactLogix, ControlLogix) is required for PLC to PLC communications. 2. The following fields are shown: a. “Remote PLC IP Address” b. “Remote PLC Path” c. “Analog Inputs Virtualization” a. Decides whether analog inputs are real or virtual. Options include: i. All physical analog inputs. ii. 1-4 physical / 4-8 virtual analog inputs iii. All virtual analog inputs d. “REAL Array Tag” a. Data type in the remote PLC uses a global scoped REAL Array Tag with a length of eight (8) for the analog inputs. b. NOTE: This is only shown if virtual digital inputs are used. e. “Digital Inputs Virtualization” a. Decides whether digital inputs are real or virtual. Options include: i. All physical digital inputs ii. 1-6 physical / 7-12 virtual digital inputs iii. All virtual digital inputs f. “DINT Tag” a. Data type in the remote PLC uses a global scoped DINT Tag for the digital inputs. b. NOTE: This is only shown if virtual analog inputs are used. g. “Recipe Name Virtualization” a. If a Virtual Recipe Name is selected, this data can be pulled into the cycle report information. b. NOTE: This is only used for DPR Reports. h. “STRING Tag” a. Data type in the remote PLC uses a global scoped STRING Tag for the virtual recipe name. b. NOTE: This is only shown if Virtual Recipe Name is selected. c. NOTE: This is only used for DPR Reports. i. “Run Signal” a. Signal to determine cycle period for creation of cycle reports. b. NOTE: This is only used for DPR Reports.
